Concentration (µg/mL) = Total Peptide (µg) ÷ Water Volume (mL)Volume Needed (mL) = Desired Dose (µg) ÷ Concentration (µg/mL)Syringe Units = Volume (mL) × 100Note: Standard insulin syringes measure 0.01mL per unit (100 units = 1mL)
Peptide Guide & Best Practices
Common Therapeutic Peptides
BPC-157
Tissue repair, gut health, injury healing. 250-500 µg, 2x daily
TB-500
Muscle repair, inflammation, flexibility. 2.5-5mg, 2x weekly
Ipamorelin + CJC-1295
GH release, anti-aging, recovery. Combined for synergy
GHK-Cu
Skin health, collagen, wound healing. 1-3mg daily
Storage & Handling
- • Lyophilized (powder): Store at -20°C (freezer) for long-term, 2-8°C (fridge) short-term
- • Reconstituted: Refrigerate at 2-8°C, use within 14-30 days
- • Bacteriostatic water: Contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as preservative
- • Light sensitive: Many peptides degrade in light, use amber vials
- • Avoid freezing reconstituted peptides - damages protein structure
Injection Technique
- • Subcutaneous (SubQ) injection most common - abdomen, thigh, arm
- • Use insulin syringes (29-31 gauge) for accuracy and comfort
- • Rotate injection sites to prevent lipohypertrophy
- • Clean injection site with alcohol swab
- • Inject slowly, withdraw slowly, dispose properly
Reconstitution Steps
- Remove flip cap from peptide vial, wipe rubber stopper with alcohol
- Draw calculated amount of bacteriostatic water into syringe
- Inject water slowly down the side of vial (NOT directly onto powder)
- Gently swirl (DO NOT SHAKE) until fully dissolved
- Label vial with peptide name, concentration, and date
Important Safety Information:
- • Peptides are research chemicals - not FDA approved for human use
- • Source from reputable suppliers with third-party testing (purity, sterility)
- • Consult healthcare provider before use, especially with medical conditions
- • Watch for allergic reactions, injection site reactions, side effects
- • Do not share needles or vials - risk of infection
- • Improper storage or reconstitution can render peptides inactive or harmful
